Today was gonna be the day, but they'll never throw it back to you. And by now, you should've somehow realized what you're not to do.

How are you doing these days? Do you miss us when we're gone~?
[He sounds normal: tone lackadaisical and relaxed, teasing when he gets to those parts, but perhaps a little tired beneath the usual carefree demeanor. Notably, he was in the infirmary for a while--restless but there--except now he's currently walking away from it.]

You think I could ask for another favor? Nothing too important this time. Definitely not as mission related. But for when we're here... I was thinking about a hobby of mine. It'd be real nice if you could get some bonsai trees for the station. I'm not too picky on which kinds of trees ya get so whatever you think would be best in this space. I'll share.
[Imagine his smiling face winking right here because, well, it is. Then again, maybe she could see him on some sort of monitoring camera around the station anyway. Haha.]
Oh, and. I know you keep the kitchen well stocked these days but if I gave you some extra ingredients for a larger cooking session, would that be okay? I wanna spend a day cooking some traditional stuff for the crew.
[Maybe a few days late but hey there was always a before the next mission preparation meal! Or something. Or after the next mission if they didn't have time. Zhao wasn't picky. He just wanted to go all out for a day and cook to his heart's (and everyone else's stomachs') content.]

Yosh! They'd definitely add some much needed color and life to the place. Do you think it'd be all right to spread them around a little? The sunlight room could at least hold a few and I'd like one small enough for my room... and some other people's rooms... [forced maintenance gifts, what] but these hallways could use some life in them, too, no offense.
Awesome. If you could get me some... [have a long and competent list of ingredients for some traditional Chinese cuisine. he knows what he's talking about, his mun does not.]
