[ in exactly thirty minutes (though she is there a little early), viveca meets ziggy in the north wing, leading her to the back, where there's something that seems to be an analyzer — she places the gun there and closes her eyes, waiting for readings. ]

I hope this will give us an idea of what it can do. I will be able to see what it says in just a moment.

... Well, even if it's just an over the top bubble gun, it'd be good to know.

Peter Quill gave it to me -- the first time he was here, I mean. It feels wrong not to do something with it, if it is actually useful.

[ a pause. ] An over the top bubble gun, I mean. [ she grimaces; sometimes, she finds that she has adopted degar's manner of choosing her words none too carefully.

for a moment, her pupils move back and forth, analysing the information the readings send her. then, she smiles. ]

It seems to employ a system of absorbing whatever it is surrounded by — water, air, something else — and compressing it into different projectiles. You can choose from one that resembles a regular bullet, one that will stun whoever it hits, and one that is like a sharp needle.

[She immediately picks up the gun, practically sparkling with interest; probably a lot of Andy and Dean and Peter Quill rubbing off on her, from the looks of it.]

So you're saying if I was in a forest, it'd make wooden bullets out of the trees, or what?

Does it have a limit? Does it have to power up between shots, or what?
