Perhaps another little hydroponic garden in the sunlight room, where they can plant seeds from their homes or past missions, if they wish. With a beacon light at its center, warm and welcoming for them.

That does sound like something we could do. Expand the already existing one, maybe build a tower-like beacon in the middle.
