[ Maybe they realized that they were causing more damage than the one they were preventing. Maybe they just wanted to go back home. Peter doesn't know the truth about what transpired before the current orbers got to the station, he can only work with what he has been told, so he has to theorize. ]

Well, kind of. Back in December, when the North Wing was opened and we were allowed to have a look, I met a boy named Kaneki. He told me that he had spoken to you about the crew, and that you told him the people got what they wanted and went back to their worlds. Was he lying?

[ He speaks about what he's been told. So either Kaneki was lying to Peter about the crew leaving, something he doubts because there was no reason to do such thing, or Viveca is the one who lied. ]

No, he wasn't. I told him the previous team retrieved the orbs and returned back to their homes. Which is very clearly different from them leaving because they couldn't destroy the orbs.

I have an idea. Obviously, it is not tested in practice... and will not be, until we know it won't harm anyone, and until everyone agrees to do it. I will not incite infighting, should your team disagree on the course of action.

We reached important agreements before, during missions. Who knows what will happen next? I just want us to be ready, if it gets to that.
